Basic steps connecting Windows to a Linux share

CUPS/SAMBA

~~ Printer Setup.

~~ Windows Share Commands.

-Show Shares

smbclient -L //servername/ -U mywinusername

-Connect to Shares

smbclient //servername/sharename -U mywinusername

-Mount Shares

smbmount //servername/sharename /mountdirectory/ -o username=mywinusername,password=mywinpass

-Perm Mount

echo username=mywinusername > .smbpasswd
echo password=mywinpass >> .smbpasswd
chmod 600 .smbpasswd
/etc/fstab file to look like this:
//servername/sharename /mountdirectory/ smbfs credentials=/home/myhomedirectory/.smbpasswd 0 0
